Spanish Steps Rueda
Spanish Steps Rueda

A delicious white wine made from Verdejo and Sauvignon grapes. It is clean, crisp, almost steely dry, refreshing and stylish. Hints of lemon and lime make this an excellent wine to drink with fish dishes.

Commended in the IWC awards 2011

The Rueda region lies just to the south of Valladolid in central west Spain. A fine city, Valladolid was once Spain's capital city and is well worth a visit. Awareness of these excellent white Rueda wines has been rising year on year, and they are considered some of the best to come out of the Iberian peninsular.

On July 2nd 2011, Spanish Steps Rueda 2010 was featured on Saturday Kitchen (BBC1 programme on Saturday mornings). The wine was selected as a perfect match with top chef Daniel Clifford's dish; Roasted dourade (gilt-head bream) with Parma ham and rosemary butter sauce.
